450g minced beef
2 large burger buns
2 mini buns

2 eggs
1 onion
2 tomatoes
4 leaves of lettuce
4 slices of cheese (like emmental or edam)
ketchup, mayo, mustard
salt and pepper
olive oil

Preparation:
1. Peel and chop the onion and slice the tomatoes
2. In a large bowl, mix the minced beef with the chopped onions, the egg, salt and pepper
3. Divide the mixture into 2 large balls and 2 small ones, then in the palm of your hand gently squeeze down to flatten into patties around 3cm thick
4. In a frying pan, heat up a little olive oil and place the burgers, cook on medium heat for 5 minutes on each side
5. Peel the potatoes, and cut them into strips (around 0.5cm to 1cm thick)
6. In another frying pan, heat up 2cm deep of sunflower oil. Once the oil is very hot, add the potato chips and cook for 5 minutes on a medium-high heat
7. Carefully take out the chips and place on a tray over a few kitchen paper sheets to absorb excess oil
8. Prepare the burger buns: slice them open, add ketchup, mayo, mustard to taste, place the beef burger and top with slices of tomato, a lettuce leaf and a slice of cheese
9. Serve with chips
