Ingredients:

4 eggs
50g grated cheddar
1 slice of thick ham
salt & pepper
butter
Preparation:
1. In a bowl, beat the eggs gently, season with salt and pepper,
and cut the ham into small pieces
2. Heat a knob of butter in a frying pan, add the beaten eggs and
let the omelette set slightly
3. Using a spatula, move the cooked parts of the omelette into
the uncooked part, let it set again slightly and repeat the process until the
omelette is cooked apart from a thin layer at the top
4. Sprinkle the grated cheddar and pieces of ham on top,
continue to cook until the cheese has melted
5. Fold the omelette in half then slide it onto a plate, cut it
in half to make 2 portions
